WILMA HULTÉN

Wilma Hultén is a Swedish composer and sound artist based in Stockholm. She has earned her Bachelor's degree in electroacoustic composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. She composes both electronic and acoustic music, with the inherent properties of sound at the center of her investigations. In her practice, she explores timbre and the perceptual grouping of sound, aleatoric techniques, spectral density, monotonous repetitiveness and slowly changing processes that let the music unfold on its own terms. Her music has been released on Möller Records, XKatedral and Laikatonal.

At Collision Points Wilma will present a live electronics set that explores our perception of timbre, gluing disassembled sounds back together in new constellations.
