Pehmee | The Soft Collective is focused on amplifying the fullest presence of marginalized bodies and interested creating space for them in media, art, fashion, and culture. Collective is aiming for liberation from intersectional feminist, anti-fasist, collectively responsible and anti-racist angles. Rooted in activism, the collective pushes beyond representation to challenge societal norms to promote self expression and radical Joy.
Collective has hosted, spoken and mc'd on international and local, online and public platforms for a decade now. suinner + trabelsi both started creating spaces and DJing in 2023 from the lack of hearing what they wanted to hear or feeling what they wanted to feel, especially in (queer) club spaces. Collective is passionate about understanding oneself In relation to this surrounding world, revolutionary dancefloors and safer spaces for experiencing and unpacking. Hoping to achieve more inclusive art field as well as individual and collective bodily freedom.
